Breaking the cycle of environmental degradation.

SDG 13 SDG 15

Our bad habits as humans contribute to a large percentage of causes of environment degradation. As we are the cause then we can help stop and reduce the effects and help heal mother nature.

Many countries have taken several steps to promote environmental conservation and improve environmental health but unless we reduce our consumption of resources that are proving lethal for our environment, we cannot provide a sustainable future to our children.

Climate change, global warming, depletion of the ozone layer, and resource depletion are real and their impact on human and animal lives can be devastating. It is an opportunity for us to adopt actions for sustainable living that can help to reduce the carbon footprint and environmental impact.

Let us preserve mother nature by all means and keep this in mind, If it can’t be reduced, reused, repaired, rebuilt, refurbished, refinished, resold, recycled, or composted, then it should be restricted, re-designed or removed from production

1. Every year, we extract an estimated 55 billion tons of fossil energy, minerals, metals and bio mass from the Earth.
2. The world has already lost 80% of its forests and we are continually losing them at a rate of 375 km2 per day.
3. The IPCC predicts that up to 250 million people across Africa could face more severe water shortages by 2020.
4. According to the World Health Organization, climate change contributes to 150,000 extra deaths and five million illnesses each year.
