Poverty and inequality in the world today

Although we have come a long way in terms of a reduction in the number of people living in poverty around the world we still have a long way to go.

Despite standards of poverty varying from one region to another, to another the hardship people face is similar.

We should strive to further reduce the number of people living under the poverty line. Despite lesser numbers harsher conditions of poverty need to be a priority through innovation, responsible consumption and even economic growth just but to mention a few.
