On 9 July 2020, over 500 policymakers, climate change experts, development specialists and representatives from UN agencies, civil society organizations, research institutes and the private sector participated in the Green Climate Fund's High-Level Political Forum (HLPF) on Sustainable Development side event to explore innovative solutions to help developing countries finance a green, resilient recovery from the devastating impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.
