Digital Cooperation: Can Geneva Make It a Win-win?

2 September 2019 | Brad Smith, Graduate Institute alumnus and President of Microsoft, came to the Institute on 2 September 2019 for “Digital Cooperation: Can Geneva Make It a Win-win”, a panel discussion organised in partnership with the Graduate Institute, the Club Diplomatique de Genève, and with the support of the Geneva Internet Platform. In his introduction, Mr Smith addressed some key aspects of “The Age of Digital Interdependence”, a report issued by the High-level Panel on Digital Cooperation, appointed by the UN Secretary-General. He then was joined by Doris Leuthard, former President of the Swiss Confederation and former member of the High-level Panel on Digital Cooperation, and Amandeep Singh Gill, former Co-executive Director, Secretariat of the High-level Panel on Digital Cooperation, for the panel discussion, which was moderated by Myret Zaki, a Swiss Economic Journalist.
