IS MENTAL HEALTH RECEIVING ENOUGH ATTENTION?! IS ITBEING TAKEN SERIOUSLY?

#mentalstability #mentalhealth
SDG 3 SDG 4

Before i state my facts, i ended up chopping this particular video because of how relatable Daniel Howell's statement is. First off, i'm so proud of the fact that he and so many more out there took the first measure of addressing mental health on social media platforms, something that not all of us could have the courage to do. I have been through depression and i suffer from social anxiety, some of my friends have ended their lives from having "no other alternative". Many believe that depression shouldn't be experienced by young people because of the assumption that we have nothing to be stressed about. But how many youngins have we lost and will continue to loose because of ignorance?! Yes, i believe making assumptions about someone's health is being ignorant of the consequences that may tag along. It is high time we pay attention to one another. Take the first step to encourage your friends, family members and anyone you suspect may have mental instability to get checked up before you point fingers, judge or even accuse. Make your environment feel safe for every individual, we all are humanregardless of our short comings.
P/S., Mental health education and awareness should be introduced to all schools. This way students will get to understand how to deal with it and how to treat others with the same issue.
