we must invest more resources in the infrastructure to propel circular economy.

#Circulareconomy

Plastic pollution is design problem, if the industry designed better products with less or zero environmental impact the issue of plastic problem wouldn't be a global threat. There would be less plastic waste getting into the landfills or the environment as most of it would easily get recycled or naturally biodegrade as has been shown by Polymateria a British based company which has developed a plastic product that can naturally degrade in a process they call bio-transformation.

In this clip Captain Charles Moore an oceanographer who discovered the Great Pacific Garbage Patch believes that it’s now time that waste lying in our landfills was mined. He said the real heroes of our future will be those engineers, scientists and entrepreneurs that will discover how to mine our waste.

As we invest more resources in the infrastructure to propel circular economy, single-use plastics should be phased out to better our environment.

The biggest environmental challenges caused by man should be solved by man, if we do not find sustainable ways to solve these challenges our existence will be at peril.
