Global Coalition for Carbon-neutrality.

Until carbon-neutrality is achieved, we will remain at the state of climate emergency - Antonio Guterres.

Marking the 5th anniversary of the Paris Agreement, the event brought together leaders ready to make new commitments to tackle climate change.

In order to limit global warming, carbon neutrality by mid 21st century is essential. Many countries have made strong commitments towards the net-zero ambition, they are moving toward wind and solar power and away from fossil fuels.

Developed nations will assist developing nations in their climate mitigation and adaptation efforts. The Agreement also creates a framework for the transparent monitoring and reporting of countries’ individual and collective climate goals.

All we need is concrete action to ensure we are on the right path. It is time for every country to adopt the plans for transitioning to net-zero emissions by 2050.
