Biodiversity and conservation

SDG 15

Biodiversity refers to the variety of living species on Earth, including plants, animals, bacteria, and fungi. While Earth’s biodiversity is so rich that many species have yet to be discovered, many species are being threatened with extinction due to human activities, putting the Earth’s magnificent biodiversity at risk.
We as humans need ti realize that within our ecosystems we can survive alone. We need other living things found within the ecosystem and we once we start to destroy them we are at a grater risk in terms of survival.
For example we humans need plants and trees to give us oxygen while the plants need our waste, carbon dioxide to give us food and their existence provides shelter to animals, simple chain that simply shows how each being in the ecosystem requires the other.
