In-Situ rain water harvesting as the solution for irrigation water scarcity.

#RESPONSIBLEIRRIGATION
SDG 8 SDG 12

In-Situ rain water harvesting involves the process of improving soil water holding capacity.

It can be done by adding water holding materials in water for example grasses, water holding stones and bogs creation.

This process saves water for long time without depending on direct water from the atmosphere.

It likewise helps to increase decomposition inside the soil which in another way improves soil health/fertility.
