ELIMINATING CERVICAL CANCER

Cervical cancer is a cancer arising from cervix ,its caused by Human Papillomavirus infection [HPV],its due to the abnormal growth of cells such as squamous cells,carcinoma and adenocarcinoma cells that have the ability to invade or spread to other parts of the body.
Early on typically no symptoms are seen ,but later symptoms may include abnormal vagina bleeding ,pelvic pain and pain during sexual intercourse .
There are risk factors that may cause this cancer such as smoking,weak immune systeam ,birth controll pills ,starting sex at young age and having many sex parteners .
We can eliminate this cancer through regular cervical screening,HPV vaccines ,using condom and abstain from sexual intercourse .
And if some one has got it can be treated by surgery,chemotherapy,radiation therapy and immune therapy .

According to WHO in 2018 570000 new cases of cervical cancer were reported and 311000 in the same year deaths were reported .
In developed countries the wide spread use cervical screening programs has dramatically reduced the rate of cervical cancer but in developing country still is challenge due to shortage and luck of health services.
