Invasive species and it's impacts to the environment

#IUCN #nature
SDG 13 SDG 15 SDG 17

invasive species is an introduced organism amd other species that negatively alters its new environment Thompson, Ken (2000).

The species are capable of causing extinctions of native plants and animals, reducing biodiversity, competing with native organisms for limited resources, altering habitats for other organisms and reduce soil nutrients.
In Tanzania there are different invasive species that are not among the indigenous species such as mexcan Poppy, Asian Carp, Sodom apple, and others that threaten the ecosystems due to their impacts to the environment.
