World Water Day; Valuing water

#Water2you #Worldwaterday
SDG 13 SDG 14 SDG 15

World water day is celebrated annually on 22 March, this year's theme being valuing water
What does water mean to you?
Water is very essential in everyone's daily life
Water to me means domestic work will be done well
Water flow is peaceful
Water means that the environment will be greener
Water helps in sustaining the lives of both animals & plants. Therefore there is need to protect the water cycle because from the trees/ forests we get water sources and the same water is needed to maintain trees we grow
Water helps us grow food and therefore contributes to sustainable life

There is a water crisis because we fail to understand the real value water one in three people live without safe drinking water, Nearly 70% of the world covered with water 2.5% of it is fresh water and the rest is saline and ocean water
Unfortunately women in Africa and Asia walk 6kms to find clean water and bottled water is just tapped water packaged and sold back to the people in high proces

The world belongs to us and the future generations, it is important for us to take care of it not only because we live in it but because it was loaned to us by the future generations

"The next world war will be fought over not politics keep in mind and be alert to conserve water"
