Climate change altering precipitation cycle

#UNEP #Combat Climate Change
SDG 6 SDG 13 SDG 15

Climate Change refer to periodic modification of Earth's climate brought about as results of changes in the atmosphere as well as interactions between the atmosphere and various other geologic, chemical , biological, and geographic factor within the Earth system (Stephen.T.Jackson)
The change can be experienced through the change of precipitation cycle extremely weather conditions, drought, melting of ice or the rise of sea level..
How the change of climate affect water cycle?
This occurr as the temperature rise and altering the humidity of atmosphere hence reduce the extent of rainfall formation, but also drought affect water bodies and vegetation which play great role in balancing precipitation cycle of a particular area , this resulted to the suffering of biodiversity including human being
Let's look an example from Kilimanjaro region in Tanzania the area which were previously characterized by well drainage system but currently we experiencing frequent climate variability associated with the change on rainfall seasons, melting of ice in mountain Kilimanjaro as well as drought in some areas of the region where by human activities seemed to be a driving force which contributed much in climate change.
The endless efforts should be taken to reduce the rate of climate change so as to make the world safe place to live,(Haridi Nguyu, 2021)
