Lets talk water in Africa.

SDG 2 SDG 6 SDG 14

Africa is known to host the most indigenous water sources from rivers, lakes and even forests eg, the Nile river, Congo forest, the New Guinea jungle Island
But the people living in Africa barely get access to fresh water. Most of water sources have bee affected by plastics, industrial wastes ad pollution, cutting down of trees thus reducing water catchment.
without means we have no food for people. It pulls the society back as we have to waste almost half of our days looking for water to sustain those needs.
As a continent we, both leaders and individuals should take measures to ensure water availability by preserving our rivers and not making them dumpsites.
Government building dams to store water during the rainy season and used in the dry season an individuals having means to store water among many other ways that cannot be written down.

Thanks Mercy. This is point on. Africa should not have water problems with all the fresh water bodies. There is a lot to be done for efficient resource management as you clearly emphasized. Cheers
