Towards Wangari Maathai/Africa Environmental Day(3/3/2021) What's your little thing?

#Unbowed #IwillBeAHummingbird #Heroes #Change
SDG 16 SDG 17

Wangari Mathaai believed in being the change whenever you can, no one else will do the little thing you are meant to do and that's our space of being change.
Africa Environment Day, celebrated annually on 3 March, was established by the Organization of African Unity in 2002 as a way of raising awareness of the pressing environmental challenges facing the continent.
Perhaps you’re working with communities to stop unsustainable development or undertaking a tree-planting campaign in your neighborhood. Perhaps you’re advocating for human rights, women rights, environmental preservation or cleaning up a park, the seashore, or wildlife habitat. Perhaps you’re organizing to bring more green issues into politics or engaging at the grassroots to bring peace to a troubled world. Perhaps you’re helping to educate girls, or increasing political participation, or using your creativity to address the climate crisis. Perhaps you’re informing religious organizations of the importance of loving the Earth, or encouraging a more positive vision of Africa. All these represent facets of Wangari Maathai’s holistic vision of citizen participation and values-driven leadership.
