SDG 1 SDG 2 SDG 8 SDG 13

Green jobs are decent jobs that contribute to preserve or restore the environment.

They help reduce consumption of energy and raw materials, limit greenhouse gas emissions, minimize waste and pollution, protect and restores ecosystems; and support adaptation to climate change, (ILO,2021)

"Agriculture is the most important sector of the African economy and will have to be its driving engine out of poverty. It accounts for 65% of the continent's employment and 75% of its domestic trade,” the Director-General of the UN Industrial Development Organisation UNIDO, (K. Kandeh, Aug 2012).

Africa we have plenty fertile land that is productive to develop agriculture, (crops production and Animals keeping). We should utilize our land, we should develop green production economy to satisfy home consumption then to reduce excessive importation of food stuffs commodities.

But we as youth we need empowerment. We can if we will be empowered.
