End of Africa Water Week, The real situation report.

#h2o #health #unep
SDG 3 SDG 6 SDG 13

Almost a billion people live without clean drinking water. We call this the water crisis.

It's a crisis because it only starts with water - but water affects everything in life. Health, Education, Food security and the lives of women and children, especially.

We can end the water crisis in our lifetime. But first we have to let everyone know it's happening.

Nearly one billion people do not have access to clean, safe water - that's the equivalent of 1 in 8 people on the planet!
For these people, poverty is a fact of life, (The Africa Water Project, 2021).

The lack of water is an often insurmountable obstacle to helping oneself. You can't grow food, you can't build housing, you can't stay healthy, you can't stay in school and you can't keep working.

Just take the a simple survey during the current time, all countries have been affected by the MONSTER 'Covid-19' then as you know that water is number one ingredient in preventing Covid-19.
How we will be able to prevent it while we lack water??
God bless Africa, God bless World.
