Building capacity among the small scale farmers is the way to go.

Agriculture is sub sector that mainly contributes to the economy of Kenya; it contributes a higher percentage to the GDP. The sector is currently under a threat from the vagaries of weather. The changing climate and the variability has results to extremes like drought and floods which causes destruction. Therefore scaling up adaptation is necessary for sustainability .
