This presentation is a summary of the results of the work being conducted by IUCN’s Task Force on Synthetic Biology and Biodiversity Conservation. It summarizes the Task Force’s published assessment “Genetic Frontiers for Conservation” and the process that led to the assessment and the IUCN Resolution which will be voted on by IUCN members when the World Conservation Congress is held
